{ARIZONA}

We were off to warm Arizona..but somehow we got stuck in the very back of the plane. The flight seemed never ending even though it was only three and a half hours. I guess I couldn't get away from dreary Indiana fast enough :)HEre are some snap shots from our little point & shoot.

This is my Uncle's dog, Ace. He is an Afghan Hound and so cute. He is only 13 months old and huge already! We decided to go hiking on our last day we thought it would be fun to bring Ace along.. so we crammed him in the back of the Mercedes and were off.


None of us realized what we were getting ourselves into.. well maybe Adam.. but no joke 15 min. in and we were struggling for air. It was a hot sunny day and we were climbing up a steep mountain. Now tell me why did this seem fun while we were discussing it in the cool living room?
We ended up getting 3 quarters of the way up. We were going to push it but Ace had never been on hike before and we didn't think we could carry him back down the mountain if he gave up on us. So all in all we hiked for an hour and 45 min. It was great to finally get out doors and do something active.. Adam and I are both getting major cabin fever!

So this is our 'pretend' top of the mountain. Isn't beautiful??

We didn't end up keeping the top of the cake from our wedding because we actually had three different cakes. So I knew when Adam told me we were gong back to AZ for our Anniversary that I had to order an Itty Bitty Cake from Tammie Coe Cakes. They were so great to work with and this was the outcome from just describing over the phone what I wanted. I was very impressed.



It is great to be back and catching up on work.. but it was just terrible flying back in to sleet and slush. How depressing. So everyday I am saying a little prayer for warmer weather. It will be so nice the day I can open all the windows in the house!
